I loved American Kingpin and all the unbelievably twists and turns. Looking for another nonfiction read. What’s the wildest biography/memoir/narrative nonfiction/investigative journalism type book you’ve read?

Anansi’s Gold by Yepoka Yeebo. It’s about a Ghanaian man who managed to scam hundreds fo millions from people starting in the 1970s. Crazy story.
If you like The Wager, Endurance is an EASY recommendation.
Since you like The Smartest Guys In the Room, I would recommend The Big Short. If you liked The Big Short movie, the book is another easy recommendation.
I’ve only read seven 5 star books in my life so far. The Wager, Endurance, and The Big Short are included in that list for me.
