Mermaids, but not sirens or the little mermaid if possible

I’ve seen a lot of the little mermaid and siren type books, but I’d like something where they aren’t evil or likely trying to become human. Does anyone know of any mermaid books that are somewhat similar to the show H2O: Just Add Water where they’re half human half mermaid?
