I feel like I am overly dependent on other people. I feel like most of my happiness comes from being in the presence of someone else, particularly when I have their attention or know I will soon have their attention. But when I’m alone again I get really sad and lonely.
I’ve been on a self-help book kick lately with audible. Does anyone have a suggestion? I have already read Attached.

An old one and may not be available on Audible, but it is excellent: The Art of Selfishness by David Seabury
A therapist I know once suggested “Codependency for Dummies.” It’s supposed to be good!
Cannot yet recommend a specific title as I just started my journey, but look into books about Stoicism.
