i need a book with a well-written romance in it (any genre)

i've been watching star trek tng and while i am absolutely having the time of my life watching it, every time an episode has a romance subplot it is just so poorly written (with one exception where it wasn't that bad in the episode with worf/k'ehleyr but that's it) it left me craving for something better
