I read The Archive Undying by Emma Mieko Candon a few months ago and I haven't been able to read anything since then. That book is probably one of my absolute favorites now, despite it not being very well-written.
I really loved the romance because the two main characters were so in love with each other and there was so much yearning and desperation for each other, but it wasn't in a weird trope-y way. For those who haven't read it, they're comparable to Viktor and Jayce from Arcane in terms of vibes.
In general, I really like books that are dark and make me feel things and think about the world in different ways.
