A bit vague I know and I'm not sure anything like this exist or exactly what I'm looking for to be honest, but a fantasy series with 'realistic' takes on species and how magic might of shaped the evolution of the world the story takes place in. I know realistic with fantasy kinda defeats the point a bit but this is a concept that's been in my head for a while now and I want to see if any books or series explore this at all.
