I loved the bell jar, convenience store women, the glass castle, I who have never known men, I want to die but I want to eat tteokbokki, the yellow wallpaper, and the vegetarian. I'd prefer if the author was female or otherwise not very well known. Very into contemporary works.

The Edible Woman by Margaret Atwood
Annie Ernaux could get you in that space if you’re up for memoir alongside fiction.
Happening
Simple Passion (along with Getting Lost)
All by Amy Koppelman, these fit the bill: A Mouthful of Air, I Smile Back, Hesitation Wounds
Siri Hustvedt. I found both The Blazing World and What I Loved to be deeply emotional, feminine and intelligent.
The days of abandonment by Elena Ferrante
The only caveat is that we don’t know for sure that it’s written by a woman
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine
I’m Glad My Mom Died (memoir)
Crying in HMart (memoir)
Never Let Me Go
Blonde by Joyce Carroll Oates
Not sure if it’s a fit but I went in blind on “wrong place, wrong time” by Gillian McAlester and couldn’t put it down.
Revolves around time travel kinda.
If I Had Your Face by Frances Cha
Less about womanhood and more personhood but orbital is worth a read if you haven’t already (and short)
The chaise longue
When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill. It’s beautifully written and explored themes of female rage, queerness, and the repression and social expectations of the 1950s.
