Today I watched the revenant and I want to watch/read more stories that are like that, accurate to the 18th century and that are super dark and Grimm, and since I love pirates I would like to know if there’s any book that shows away from the romantic idea of the pirates of the Caribbean and shows them how they truly were, ugly and nasty sea barbarians
