Hi!!
I wanna create my 2026 read list and am mostly looking for easy casual books. I prefer books with romance or that talk about the beauty of life (think Matt Haig), or obviously motherhood. I only want fiction.
Sometimes though if I’m feeling less tired I like thrillers so I’m up for that too if you’ve got some good recs!
I don’t really like fantasy books anymore, or heavy fantasy.
Do you have any good recs for me?? The more the merrier, obvs ones you thought were good and cozy.

**Beautiful Ruins** by Jess Walters is a good one!
*Harmony*, by Carolyn Parkhurst is a short, fun read about a desperate mother who is out of ideas on how best to parent her daughter with ASD, so she rolls the dice on a guru who thinks he can help.
Abby Jimenez is always a fun easy read
Katherine Center or Beth O Leary…mostly closed door but lovely to read
Finley Donovan is Killing It (and series) are lighthearted mom mysteries
