What are some book suggestions around the history of Florida, say pre 1850 from a first person perspective. I've really enjoyed reading first person stories (fiction and non-fiction) about the exploration and settlement of Florida. I've enjoyed reading some of these books:
- A Moor's account (I know not so much about FL)
- Books about the conquest of the natives (Not a "good" topic, but one that I find interesting).
I also enjoyed reading all of Hemingway's books, so if there are suggestions for similar authors, then I'd appreciate it.
