I recently got into (variations) fantasy and honestly, I love it. My first introduction was ACOTR, I devoured the series. I then devoured Dungeon Crawler Carl and now I'm reading The Wandering Inn and loving it. I understand that some of these are Lit-RPG/Sci-Fi, thats okay… they're not real life and thats more what im referring to. I love the odd characters and the world you get out into.
One thing I love is character development, I want to feel like I know these people and theyre my BFFs but in a world unlike the one I'm in now… I need an escape.
I am not super picky but would love some suggestions on books that take me away from real life! I appreciate any and all suggestions, the weirder the better! Talking cats, giant ant men, fairies, dragons, I don't discriminate! – Thanks
