I somehow didn’t think of a self help book before I saw the comments. 😅
Personally A Court Of Silver Flames really healed something in me, because it follows a journey of someone healing their trauma – but it’s what we would lovingly describe as fairy smut. So maybe not what you are looking for.

Secrets of the Super Optimist.
It’s like a parody of a self-help book. But absurdism really helped me re-frame my thinking.

The one that (I thought strangely) helped the most was Kristen Neff Self Compassion. Her language is plain and understandable, not all woo woo.
The Body Keeps the Score was amazing but I couldn’t read it until after therapy bc too much hit home.
Mindfulness Skills for Trauma and PTSD by Rachel Goldsmith Turow was very helpful for me as well. Also a plain language book and very insightful.
Best to you OP, I hope you find what works for you.
