I may not be able to explain really well but I'm looking for a book that's got a happy vibe to it, absurd situations that would make me laugh. No dark humour though please. I love books set in the 18th or 19th century, kind of like Bridgerton except I feel there's not enough of a plot going on there. So basically maybe I want a Jane Austen vibe that's cheerful. A romantic comedy if you will! By the way, I'm in my mid twenties (F) and I've been a bit out of reading so would need something that pulls me back!
