Nomadic cultures research

I would love to read something about nomadic cultures as a research for my game!

• If it's non-fiction I would prefer it to not be about a white person wedging themselves into the culture like Robyn Davidson or Bruce Chatwin.

• If it's fiction, I would love to see a lot of details about how the nomads live, sustain themselves and how their life styles influences their culture.
