Books for a beginner reader

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to get into reading and looking for book recommendations. In the past, I’ve read a few feel-good rom-com novels, but that’s about it.

I’m open to any genre, as long as it’s not very heavy on philosophy. I already struggle a bit with English, so I’d prefer something easy to read and engaging.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
