I’m looking for a history book about the history of Christianity, but all I have found are ones from religious perspectives. I don’t want any bias towards the history, so if anyone knows of any good recommendations, that would be helpful! This isn’t for school or anything, just want to do some research.

Jaroslav Pelikan Jesus Through the Centuries and Whose Bible is it are two books that might meet your needs if you want to know how the ideas change over time and between cultures
Diarmaid MacCulloch’s History of Christianity is very good and very thorough [and readable] – he is a British academic who specialises in ecclesiastical history but he is, as far as I can ascertain, not a practising Christian – and the book is very balanced and objective.
W.H. Lecky: *A History of European Morals*. Massive and sarcastically irreverent.
