HELP!!

for christmas my friends and family got me like a bunch of books but they got me dostoevskys works too. to be specific crime and punishment and the brothers karamazov.

as someone who has never read a classic book besides of mice and men by john steinbeck, i havent a clue which book is more simpler to read

so was wondering if anyone could help me out as to which one i need to start off with to get familiar with dostoevskys works
