Romance book recommendations without any smut?

I'm usually the type of person who reads different types of genres, but sometimes I'm just really in the mood for a romantic book.

Honestly, I've been really struggling with finding any books that have little to no smut that are also worth the read.

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

I'm down for anything but these have caught my attention recently:

-Any drama/mystery books with romance subplot
-Workplace romance
-Period dramas

But I really want to feel the tension and would like the pairing to be female/male.
