i used to read so much when i was in primary school (i’m british)and now i havent finished a book for enjoyment since i was like 11☹️this year im trying to connect with myself more and i really wanna get back into reading so please give me suggestions <33
the last books i remember enjoying are :
a good girls guide to murder, one of us is lying, the naturals ( didn’t get to finish it tho )
the type of shows/anime i’m into (if that helps)
are romcoms, romance or just anything that will make me think and feel, like i enjoy stuff that leaves me thinking about it afterwards? idk!! but i rlly struggle with actually staying consistent 😭😭soo maybe i need suggestions for actually getting over that and then some suggestions i’d enjoy later down the line??

have you ever tried agatha christie murder mysteries
The hunger games are good young adult fictions and have a romantic element to it. I am 37 and still enjoyed it. Also we were liars is a bit odd stylistically but I enjoyed it and is also young adult with a romantic element. Harry Potter was always something I enjoyed at your age and still do. Also his dark materials trilogy is wonderful and also has a romance.
The Secret Garden
Carl Hiaasen’s YA books – *Flush*, *Hoot*, *Chomp* etc…..
Dark materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman. Young female lead, fantasy but relatable fantasy great characters. Love those books
six of crows!
