I really loved his Felix Castor series, written as Mike Carey. First one is “The Devil You Know.”
The Book of Koli is the first one of his Rampart Trilogy, which is set in a post-apocalyptic future Britain. I liked it a lot, but it is a change in tone, more serious, fewer jokes.
Carey also wrote for DC and Marvel, but I haven’t picked up any of his comic runs.
