Back before The Hunger games was really popular, I had borrowed the first two books from my job. Two days later, out of nowhere, I got so sick I had to be taken to urgent care. In an effort to distract myself from feeling ill, I attempted to read the first book on the drive over. Figured I wouldn't make it past the first page, since I don't retain information well when sick.
Well I read it all the way to urgent care, read it in the waiting room, took it into the room with me, read it while the nurse took vitals and asked questions, read it on the way home, and didn't stop until I finished the second book some in the middle of the night. I swear being deliriously ill made the books ten times better because I read them after I felt better and didn't think much of them.
