English is not my first language and I'm having some difficulties trying to search for the exact type of books I'm looking for so sorry for any possible rambling ahahah

I'm looking for nonfic on the realm of cooking, gardening, home remedies, etc etc so on the "better living" side of self help I'd say? Less rich man poor man and more hygge but no bullshit-y mantras, I want useful learning guides in a cute package

Something that would teach me on how to live more in tune with the nature, cooking more wholly, learning what to brew for whatever that is hurting, manual skills that have been lost, very cottage core.

I've seen books like the "Kitchen Witch" which is exactly what I want in terms of illustration and vibe of the book contents, just not as spiritual?

Much thanks to anyone who might help me!!

    1. I like Tamar Adler’s An Everlasting Meal as a manifesto and manual to keep a healthy and tasty and eco-friendly kitchen, I keep it with my cookbooks.

    2. Have you read Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer? It’s not exactly instructional or how-to but it’s an inspiring grounding in how and why to live more in tune with nature.

The art of frugal hedonism by Adam Grubb and Annie Raser-Rowland would be a good start. It’s quite an easy ready.
