We’ve all seen the sexy vampire/sexy werewolf/WHATEVER books, but I’m looking for something more niche that I can’t for the life of me find.
Looking for a book where the MC comes in contact and falls in love with a monster. I’m talking like legit monster: Lovecraftan-esk if that makes sense, and the monster would do everything in its power to keep the MC safe; set the world on fire for her type deal.
The one I found that was close had rape in it and that’s a no-go for me….
Anything would be appreciated!

Meg Smitherman writes horror romance novellas that might scratch a similar itch! Out of her work, Thrum is probably the closest to what you’re looking for (although I’m trying to avoid spoilers). It’s about the lone survivor on a long haul spaceship who has a strange, alluring entity answer her distress call.
