My MIL is giving me her old kindle because I said I need something to do while breastfeeding other than scroll Facebook. I have never been much of a reader but want to get in to it. Please help me with book suggestions! I like documentaries about pretty much anything (especially political controversy, ex: watergate, MKULTRA, etc), pop culture, and my favorite movies are the Silver Linings Playbook, Parenthood, and Memoir of a Snail if that helps! TIA!

there’s nothing like this by kevin evers – written by a
senior editor at harvard business review, the book
discusses the business genius of taylor swift. I’m not
a swiftie by any means but even i found the book to
be very engaging (so far).
careless people: a cautionary tale of power, greed, and lost idealism – a memoir by a former facebook director that reveals alot of the about the companys internal policies, their practices and the overall sociopolitical events that it played a role in. While i haven’t read this one yet, all my friends & acquaintances told me it was an interesting read
