I’m a BIG horror reader, enjoy some thrillers and sci fi. I enjoy dreamlike vibes or time bending scenarios.
I want to try a fantasy book or series to get into, but the mainstream ones i’ve looked at like Court of Thorns and Game of Thrones don’t interest me.

Dreamlike: Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
Time-bending: Sea of Tranquility by Emily St John Mandel (more sci-fi than fantasy though.)
I would also recommend The City and The City, and Perdido Street Station by China Mieville
Time bending and dreamlike – my first thought is This is How You Lose the Time War. Not sure it qualifies as fantasy so much as speculative fiction, but you might enjoy it.
ALSO: The Fifth Season and its two sequels by N.K. Jemisin. Absolutely breathtaking.
For something a little lighter and more strictly fantasy, the Sevenwaters books by Juliet Marillier are very dream like (they’re based on folktales) and the Black Jewels series by Anne Bishop is just sort of trippy, but also very dream like.
