I’m in my mid-20s(M) and have really fallen in love with reading this year. I’ve found I love sweeping narratives and "lived-in" worlds.

    Recent favorites:

    The Stand by Stephen King

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith

The Winter of Our Discontent & Cannery Row by Steinbeck

Coming up on my TBR are: Lonesome Dove, Pachinko, and East of Eden.

Sometimes I struggle with being unsure of when is the “right time” to read a classic for the first time. I’ve enjoyed almost everything I've picked up, but I’m currently going through a lot of personal and professional change. I’d love to hear suggestions for books that spoke to you during transitional periods of your life- whether they are "life-changing" classics or just books I can get lost in for the New Year. Thanks!
