Science books that blew your mind

I want to fall in love with science again, and remember what a maddeningly cool world we live in. What book made you want to talk someone‘s ear off about the cool new thing you learned?

Any scientific field or topic. I’m a scientist, but ideally at least somewhat “popular science” level of detail. I was just reading about quantum entanglement and realized what an awful lot of stuff I know nothing about.
