I recently did a presentation about neurodiversity in the classroom and beyond. I learned a lot of really cool stuff and have some great resources to share about how universal design helps everyone— not just those with ADHD, autism or other neuro-sparkly folk.

I’d like to bring this discussion to my division at a university. It’s mostly staff who work with students outside the classroom but often support students during struggles with inner personal, academic, and general life challenges. For that discussion I’d love to have a book club vibe. Where people come with foundational information and I can add some things and then everyone can share from their own experiences (either themselves or in their work- whatever they’re comfortable with).

I’m open to fiction or non fiction but I’d love the book to be about the age group (college age) and to be accessible, not everyone loves data as much as I do 🙃 Something that will start a discussion but isn’t too dense. Suggestions? Thanks 🙏
