I'm looking for older books because it's hard to reflect on recent events from a purely objective point of view. Last year, I read Behind the Oval Office by Dick Morris (yes, that bastard) which gave relevant insight on the two parties and the optics on which they operate.
I'd like books that help contextualize the current US political climate and possibly some books that contextualize the politics of US foreign policy as well.
