I’m a 17/18 yr old and used to be a big reader as a kid but, well, you know how my generation is. I want to start causally reading again to escape, but it can’t just be any old book, I HAVE to be engaged or I’ll quit it on the first page.
I really really love a stories with tight ending, ones where you read the last page and it’s so full circle that you need to snap the book shut and then jump up and down in glee!! As a reference, two books I really loved would be the Outsiders and The Princess Bride.
I don’t care what genre it is, as long as it’s fun, probably pretty fast paced, and teen friendly, and has a really full-circle ending, I want to hear it!
