I’m looking for book recommendations that genuinely help with emotional intelligence and communication — not just theory, but books that change how you understand yourself and interact with others.
I’m especially interested in reads that explain emotions clearly, teach better listening, healthier boundaries, and more honest communication, whether in friendships, family, or everyday life.
If a book made you more self-aware, calmer in conflict, or better at expressing what you feel without overthinking — I’d love to hear about it.

Brene Brown did this for me. Start with Daring Greatly and/or Rising Strong, then the rest.
Konrad Lorenze’s On Aggression.
Basic argument is that aggression is a natural state for all animals and how it can be managed.
