*Song of Achilles* is an option if your willing to ancient and queer. *Untamed Shore* by Moreno-Garcia is more modern and cis. Or maybe *Elanor and Park* for young love

‘Eleanor & Park’ by Rainbow Rowell is a young adult romance that captures the sweetness and intensity of first love. Set in the 1980s, it’s a story about two misfits finding solace and understanding in each other, and I always find it utterly authentic and touching.
