This might be a bit too specific but I'm looking for books written in English that fall into the category of contemporary fiction or literary fiction and are set in the city of Berlin.
Looking for books that have a similar vibe to Donna Tartt's "The Goldfinch" and Hanya Yanagihara's "A Little Life" but they can veer off from those as well.
If you know of books like this that are only in the German language, I'd be okay with those recommendations. I can't read them now as I'm learning German and have a long way to go before reading novels but one day I'll be able to!
