Im going on my first kid-free vacation in more than 2 years. My sister convinced me that an all inclusive was the way to go, so I'll have 4 days of soaking in the ocean and reading. I want a book so intriguing I forget to refill my free drinks. Something so un-put-downable that I forget to reapply my sunscreen.
Books that I've felt that way about before: All the Kevin Kwan Books, Atmosphere from Taylor Jenkins Reid, Fourth Wing from Rebecca Yarros, Ill be gone in the Dark from Michelle McNamara, Going Zero from Anthony McCarten, The Final Girl Support Group from Grady Hendrix, God of the Woods from Liz Moore, The Maidens and The Silent Patient from Alex Michaelides.
Popular books or authors I did not like: anything Julia Quinn, All The Colors of the Dark,The Inheritance Game books, We were Liars, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue,Great Big Beautiful Life (although I've liked other Emily Henry books).
Im open to any genre. In the past I've shied away from Fantasy and I dont like really smutty romance books.
