Looking for a book where a couple has been together for years and the husband has been hiding a secret about himself and somehow the wife finds out. Not really wanting the secret to be a killer. Maybe like the husband has an addiction or secret child? Don’t even know if this exists.

Feel free to ignore because it’s not exactly what you’re looking for but maybe the right vibe?
My Husband by Maud Ventura
“Determined to keep their relationship perfect, a wife meticulously prepares for every encounter she has with her husband, always taking care to make her actions seem effortless. She watches him attentively, charting every mistake and punishing him accordingly to help him improve. And she tests him–setting traps to make sure that he still loves her just as much as he did when they first met.”
It’s weird and suspenseful and kind of unhinged!
Just go into the thriller section at your local bookstore, blindfold yourself, drag your fingers around the books and stop randomly. You’re bound to find one!
Something in the Water by Julia Whalen.
