Looking for a specific type of book trope?? I tried searching but couldn’t find any recs

Can you guys please give me a romance book recommendation based on these specific things:-

One of the characters has changed their appearance/name/etc… , and has returned to their hometown or met a person from their previous life.
(For some reason I love the tension)

An example of this is:-
All for the game

Or

Two characters have met before and they end meeting after years but one of them remembers and the other doesn’t

I don’t mind dark, sports, college romances
But I don’t like fantasy
