Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a book recommendation for a close friend. She’s been going through a difficult phase and often feels weighed down by life, so I’d love to gift her something thoughtful and comforting. I’m not looking for a self-help book, but rather a well-written story that quietly explores themes of finding peace, appreciating small moments, and learning how to grow through life’s challenges. Something heartfelt and hopeful, without being preachy, that might resonate with her in its own time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The Comfort Book by Matt Haig is a collection of small things that bring him joy (stories, recipes, memories, etc.)
The Anthropocene Reviewed and/or Tiny Beautiful Things are kind of similar, but I’d go with The Comfort Book
