I will shortly be going on a long flight and am looking for a good crime/thriller to keep me entertained. I’m talking 24 hours each way, so plenty of time!
I would call myself a casual reader so not looking for anything too “hardcore” or “high brow” (something along the lines of a Stephen King or Dan Brown maybe – twisty but not hard to follow). Can anyone give me a recommendation?
Thanks in advance.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series is perfect for long flights – once you start you literally can’t put it down and before you know it you’ve burned through 6 hours without even realizing
More or less anything by Christopher Brookmyre; he’s a Scottish thriller writer, setting most of his books in Scotland. There are a few different protagonists, so it’s worth checking which is the first in each protagonist’s group if you think they might interest you (although I think you can read them out of order, chronologically is better!)
