I know the series is hit and miss, but I absolutely adore these books. I think it's the jumping back in history, and alongside that, the mystery around the connection between the sisters and Pa Salt and how the entire story fits together. I love a mystery but I often need something lighter than a crime novel.
Does anyone have recommendations for a mystery story that doesn't involve crime? Even better if there's historical elements in it too!
