In the past year I’ve gotten big into anime/manga and I’ve developed a massive interest in fiction in general. I’m looking to get into some more traditional media like novels and live-action film i’d love to hear what people’s favorites are!
I’m mostly into fiction but totally fine with non-fiction too and I enjoy any kind of story as long as it’s good. Historical fiction is great, high/low fantasy, autobiographies, I’m interested in all of it I just wanna know what you think is the best of the best. I really like stories about space, philosophy, samurai are my favorite, Vikings are dope too, huge sports fan as well, like I said I’m pretty open-minded.
I’ve also struggled with reading comprehension my entire life and that’s why I love manga so I probably can’t start off with anything too crazy dense or sophisticated.
Some stuff on my radar is Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Shoe Dog, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Slaughterhouse Five. And I tried to read Red Riding but kinda fell off of it but I wanna try reading it again at some point. Hit me with your best stuff people!
