I’m really excited about this year’s Read the World challenge! For anyone who doesn’t know, StoryGraph selects 10 countries and challenges readers to read one book from each country. These books should reflect those countries through the setting, the author, or ideally both.
This year’s countries are Afghanistan, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Iraq, Morocco, Senegal, Sweden, and Thailand, all places I’d love to visit and learn more about through the power of reading. I’m especially drawn to fiction and character-driven stories that capture the unique spirit of these countries. If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
