I’m looking for book recommendations inspired by the vibe of the song “I’m Not Like Alice” by SkyeChristy, with a very specific romantic and emotional dynamic. I’m open to fantasy romance as well as contemporary, as long as the core relationship hits the right notes.
What I’m looking for:
- Female POV required (dual POV with the MMC is welcome)
- A “you chose her over me… so why do you keep coming back to me?” dynamic Second-chance–adjacent romance, but messy and unresolved for a while
- Strong groveling from the MMC
