I just finished Poetic Faiths: New Religions and Rituals as Works of Living Art by Tony Wolf, which is pretty niche, but it's basically 5 transcribed interviews around a theme, and the interviewer uses similar questions for each one. There's obviously some variation, like a request to expand on a certain point, but in the end, all of the interviews try to hit the same main points. I'm looking for more books in this format. Searches for "interview anthology" brings up a lot of large reference works, intended to have all of the most important interviews ever, which is not what I'm looking for. I want the interviews to be about one topic, even if that topic is extremely niche.

Poetic Faiths referenced Drawing Down the Moon: Witches, Druids, Goddess-Worshippers, and Other Pagans in America by Margot Adler, which appears to be approximately what I'm looking for, although I'm not interested in reading it right now. I've also found Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do by Studs Terkel, which also seems like this and that I am highly interested in reading. However, I'm struggling to find more like this to choose from.

One final point is that a lot of what I've found tends to be almost like an inverse memoir, as in, asking a bunch of people to recount the life of one person, especially a famous/dead person. I'm not so interested in these. I think history of an area, culture, etc would be interesting, but just talking about a single person doesn't seem up my alley. Thanks guys for all your help.
