Hi, I’ve been in a reading slump for a while now and would like to get back into reading. Some of the only things I’ve come close to finishing were anne of green gables and a horror novel called clown in a cornfield. I’m in the mood to either read something more lighthearted and happy or Mystery or thriller novels. I would prefer if the main characters were women or girls and if possible that the books were by women as well. But if the books were written by men and you feel that the main characters are well developed that’s okay too. Thank you!
