Particularly looking for gothic novels similar to old gothic fairytales, something similar ish that comes to mind is The Salt Grows Heavy by Cassandra Khaw and (although a movie based on a short story) The Green Knight that came out a few years ago. Horror- heavy is fine, not super interested in smut at the moment if that helps. Anything that comes to mind?
