I want to get more into reading, but I’m still figuring out what genre peaks my interest. I read “Verity” and enjoyed the suspense of it, but not a huge fan of the smut or the stereotypical love story. The mystery in “The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime” had me gripped lol. I thought the 5th wave was really good and I was into the Sifi but it was kinda corny. My favorite was probably “the housemaid” cause of the suspense too. Most of these books had been gifted to me or I borrowed them with no context other than the cover haha. I do like romance sometimes but I feel most books are too corny or just overdo it with smut so I loose interest.
