N.K. Jemisin writes incredible sci-fi if you’re open to that, but for non-fantasy I’d definitely check out Octavia Butler’s “Kindred” – it’s more historical fiction with time travel elements and absolutely mind-blowing

Chencia C. Higgins writes contemporary romance, some of them f/f. I really liked D’vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding, which is an f/f fake dating novel. A Little Kissing Between Friends would also fit but I haven’t read it.
