For horror I’d definitely go with The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson – it’s psychological horror done right and still holds up today
LGBTQIA+ wise, Red: A Crayon’s Story is surprisingly good if you want something lighter, or Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas for YA fantasy vibes
