I'm looking for books where nothing really happens and the author is just extremely descriptive; of the characters, of the settings, etc.
Specifically a book about a long, hot summer that's really descriptive of the summer aesthetic. Honestly would love a new romance vibe where everything's new and nothing is going wrong, it's just summer bliss.
Inspo: La Cienaga (film), The Virgin Suicides (book), Saltburn (film)
Would Bonjour Tristesse fit in? I haven't read this one yet
If anyone has a rec that'd be fab thank you so much xoxo
