this book im reading rn is a slog and im predicting an incoming reading slump
im looking for a book that grips you from the first chapter, first page, first sentence even. length isn’t much of a worry (although at least 100-150 pages would be ideal) and im open to any genre besides romance as i cant seem to read them without nitpicking. im in a big sci fi, fantasy, dystopia (scifantystopia?) kick right now so that’s a major plus
please give a little sentence blurb about what it is/why it gripped you otherwise im not going to search goodreads for every title 😅
